Innocenti VHDDKIT1 Pure Air Plinth Vent Kit

The MyAppliances VHDDKIT1 Recirculating Plinth Vent Kit is the smart solution for installing a venting induction hob where external ducting is not possible or practical. Instead of channelling air outside, the kit draws extracted air down from the hob, passes it through an activated carbon filter to remove cooking odours and grease, and quietly returns the cleaned air to your kitchen through a discreet grille set into the plinth.

Designed to sit out of sight beneath a standard base cabinet (minimum 800mm wide) with a front-facing plinth, the VHDDKIT1 keeps your run of units looking seamless while doing all the hard work below. The compact housing connects to your hob's outlet using the supplied flexible pipe, and everything needed for a clean installation, including the housing, fixings, carbon filter and magnetic grille, comes in the box. It is suited to cabinet base boards up to 20mm thick and should be fitted by a competent installer following the supplied instructions.

Ongoing care is straightforward. The magnetic front grille simply lifts off for tool-free access, letting you wash the grille and filter case every three months to keep everything performing at its best. The activated carbon filter should be replaced every three to six months depending on how often you cook, with replacement filters (WRDDF1) available online. Because it recirculates rather than extracts, the VHDDKIT1 is especially well suited to kitchen islands and layouts where running ductwork to an outside wall would be difficult, giving you effective odour control without compromising your kitchen design.
