We're very sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like the surface may not have been properly seasoned, which is essential for getting the best results from cast iron. Even brand new griddles benefit from additional seasoning before first use. To season it at home, wash it with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, then dry it thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of high smoke point oil (such as rapeseed or flaxseed), wipe off any excess, and place it upside down in an oven at 230–260°C for an hour. Allow it to cool in the oven. Repeating this process 2–3 times can help build a stronger non-stick coating. Please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team so we can resolve this for you. Came broken. Last product i bought randomly shattered within 3 years. Poor products and wouldn't recommend. Poorly packaged too. I superglued parts back in rather than send back but I wouldn't recommend products from here. That's 2 poor products I've bought.

The dispatch was delayed. Once I had complained I was refunded the next day delivery. The extractor then arrived with the wrong filters. I complained again, was made to submit proof of the error, and finally the correct filters were sent. The emails to the complaint team were actioned slowly and in both instances required phone calls in addition.
The extractor hood itself is very smart and quiet. However the instructions for installation were poor and mounting via two screws which have to be placed inside the casing was difficult.

I ordered a curved glass cooker hood…

I ordered a curved glass cooker hood they sent one it was broken when it turned up they exchanged it an a straight glass turned up unfortunately my fitter fitted this when I as out I emailed told appliance was not right they said they exchange it told me to pack up the wrong one an they sent another one following day .When the other one came again it was a flat glass hood totally wrong again I emailed an told the good job the one fitted hadn’t been taken down plus who was going to pay for taking down an re fit another one ,good enough eventually they sent a curved glass an said they would pay to refit correct one so got to get fitter back to do it , been a saga but got there in end I hope

Very disappointed with the service…

Very disappointed with the service provided from the servicing department / approved contractor (engineer).
All must have kitchen appliances were purchased and instal March / April 2022 - no issues. Late 2023 we had problems with the hob and microwave. We contacted the company and they assigned the job to an approved local contractor. The hob was quick to fix. The microwave took over 8 weeks to be returned to us. I had to chase several times and I believe my repair ticket was closed by mistake, so I had to raise another one. The engineer tried to fix twice but to no avail and he wasn't confident what the overall issue was. The communication from the approved contractor (engineer) and My Appliances were non existent unless I called them. The microwave was finally fixed and installed 08/02/24. The engineer didn't seem certain that the issue wouldn't return - " I Hope this works ". Near on exactly a year later - Friday 07/02/25 - the same issue returned. Microwave blew my electrics. I have now called the servicing department who have advised me that my microwave is not under warranty, even though I assumed it was under a 5 year warranty - Apparently, I should have registered ....my mistake ! However, considering we experienced the initial problem just over 18 months of purchase and then again within 12months of a repair, surely this confirms there is an underlying fault with the appliance ?? They have sold me a microwave that is clearly not fit for purpose. I would have assumed that a company like My Appliances, would take some ownership of an ongoing fault which has been repaired previously. Clearly not.
